The key point of sale process in any visitor attraction, the admissions process is handled by the front and back office components that make up the LeisurePOS Admissions module.

For fixed locations, the front office comprises a touch screen based point of sale unit for the sale of day visits as well as timed events such as tours and shows, with optional capacity settings.

On screen hot keys can be programmed on each POS unit in order to expedite the ticket selling process.

The system allows multiple, user defined tender methods, including split tendering and on-line, integrated credit card processing.

The system makes extensive use of vouchers, for dealing with promotional discounts and special offers.

Advance bookings, which have been entered through the LeisurePOS Booking module can be checked and confirmed via the admissions units, allowing actual numbers to be confirmed and if required, additional tickets may be printed.

These units can also be used to sell retail items as part of the Gamma LeisurePOS Retail module.

PalmTill, Gamma’s hand-held remote processing units can be used to process admissions in non-static sales locations, for example car parks, temporary entrances and also as ‘queue busters’. These ‘ruggedised’ palm top devices incorporate a portable thermal printer and magnetic card swipe.
